MagentoMagik store wise Feature Product extension helps the store owners to showcase different featured products for different stores running on single Magento installation.

Many store owners are using Magento Ecommerce software to launch more than one store with one backend (admin panel). This saves them from logging to multiple stores and manage products, orders etc.

Magik Store wise Featured Product Extension let store owners choose and manage their featured products in such a way that they can showcase different products per store. They can choose whether to glide products horizontally or vertically for each store.

I have seen other featured product sliders but most of them were able to showcase for one single store or same featured products can be displayed on all stores (Which is not what store owners would want). Best thing about Magik store wise featured products is that If you run multiple stores using single Magento installation then you can showcase your featured products for each and every store easily using this extension.

Moreover, Store Owner can upload custom built images and link those to their desired pages. This helps them in showing a custom image for any of their product (without changing actual product image).

is there a way to make this auto rotate?

Our Extension slides the featured products automatically. When your mouse is over any product then the slider will stop. This is the default behavior of this extension. Let me know if you are experiences some other behavior.

At the moment the slider works fine, except for the autorotate. Now I know that it is default behaviour, I can search for the reason why. Will let you know!

Auto-rotate is the default behavior of our extension. Please check the JavaScript error console and let me know if you see any problem. Or you can give us the URL so we can test.

I have installed this extension okay, but I am not sure how to specify a product as featured. As far as I can work out, it needs an attribute to be set. What is the Attribute code of the featured attribute and what value should it have to make a product featured? I have not been able to find any documentation for this extension, so any help would be appreciated.

For this extension to work as it is Attribute_code for featured product must be "featured".
You can set it from Admin > Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes.

For displaying the horizontal scrolling in the front end, need to add following block in CMS page -

{{block type="featuredproducts/featuredproducts" template="featuredproducts/featuredproducts.phtml"}}

You need to create an attribute called "Featured" and associate all those products with this attribute. Now, your basic featured products are ready and associated with the newly created "Featured" category. Once done, our extension will fetch the products which are also marked under "Featured" category and display on home page. You need to put the code block on the home page though.

Is there any place to download the extension and do a manual installation? I receive the following error upon install:

As those files are stock magento, I'm unsure as to what to do.
